Hot Screen, one of Sweden’s largest suppliers of heat transfer, has taken a major step toward a fully digitalized business together with Maksimer. By combining Litium as the technical platform with a custom-built system for logo handling, proofs, and customer-specific products, they have created a solution that streamlines the entire chain, from quote to production.
A complete digital platform for future production
The system is built with scalability and usability in focus. More than 5,700 customers have unique logins with role-based permissions, and over 1,000,000 SKUs are managed in Litium PIM. All product and order data is synchronized automatically with the Hansa ERP system via a middleware layer, ensuring high stability even during peak load.

A key breakthrough in the project is the automation of print files. Through an integration with Automation Engine, print-ready PDF files are generated directly at order placement, based on uploaded logos and selected settings. Raster files such as JPG or PNG can be vectorized directly in the system using AI, reducing manual work and turnaround time. Customers can also design their own logos using a built-in editor, where text, colors, and effects can be adjusted to create a print-ready file without external tools.
The system is not only built for end customers. It also serves as a powerful tool for Hot Screen’s sales team. Inside sales representatives can log in as customers, create proofs, view prices and discounts in real time, and track order status. Proofs can be sent to the customer’s own end clients for approval along with placement templates, making the process fast and traceable.
The interface is designed with the user in mind. Customers can easily upload garments, place logos directly on product images, and get a visual preview before ordering. Everything is built to reduce friction and increase conversion.
The project was led by Maksimer, responsible for everything from pre-study and architecture to UX, build, and integrations. One of our Ecommerce Managers has acted as a strategic partner throughout the project, supporting Hot Screen in key decisions related to digital business development.
