My Best Friend AS, with three stores in Bergen and one in Geilo, has recently launched an online store. The online store would not have been possible without a good integration with their point-of-sale system, BestValue.
Now, they can send dog equipment, as well as everything you need for horses and cats, all over the country. The online store is fully integrated with the BestValue point-of-sale system, payment solution from NETS, and Consignor EDI.
Orders
With a 24/7 online store, customers from all over the country can place orders whenever they want. Orders are prepaid in the online store with VISA or MasterCard using the NETS payment solution.
Order Processing
After the customer has placed an order, the orders are automatically downloaded into BestValue HiP for further processing.
Shipping, EDI, and Tracking
Once the order is packed, Mine Bestevenn uses the EDI solution Consignor to notify the carrier. An automatic tracking number is assigned, allowing customers to track their shipment until delivery.
Product Management
All products/prices are maintained in BestValue HiP and updated automatically in the online store.
Inventory Management
All products are inventory-managed in BestValue HiP, and the online store is updated in near real-time. This means that when a product is out of stock in the store, it cannot be purchased in the online store.
